Heritage after School (NE) drum and dance classes for youth grades 4th - 8th are Mondays and Wednesdays, September 20, 2010-May 25, 2011. Classes are free for youth, but there is parent involvement requirement. Contact Our Children Count to register - 313-468-5566.

Heritage Works provides Heritage after School in NE Detroit in collaboration with the College for Creative Studies, Pewabic Pottery, Detroit Children's Choir, InsideOut Poetry, and Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit. In addition to drum and dance, youth can participate in choir, visual arts, pottery, theatre and poetry workshops Monday - Friday from 4 - 6:30 PM. Classes meet weekly except for major holidays (e.g., T-Giving), Detroit Public School vacations (e.g., winter break, mid-winter break) and snow days. Live on the west side of Detroit?
