Bring your lapas! Bring your drums! Join youth and members of the Michigan Association of Drum and Dance for a 3-day celebration of African drum and dance. Held in conjunction with Detroit's own African World Festival, the MADDYA celebration will feature performances by dance troupes from Detroit and Flint, MI, workshops with visiting artists, and a Tannabarr.
