Heritage Works 2020-21

Heritage Works is celebrating coming of age in 2020-21

Join us for a series of events that showcase our community and heritage and help us plot a course for the future.

To kick off our celebration, we are hosting a four-day virtual residency with the incomparable Philadanco. This residency includes school-based workshops for Detroit youth, a convening of Detroit African American Women Artists (DAWA), and a mini performance by Philadanco followed by a talkback with Philadanco dancers and choreographer Anthony Burrell.
