DRUM ROLL: Bring the Power of Rhythm to Your School

Drum Roll is Heritage Works’ rhythm-based mobile arts outreach program, bringing hands-on percussion, movement, culture, and connection directly to schools and community spaces.

With up to 25 percussion instruments, Drum Roll transforms classrooms, gyms, and auditoriums.    

 

DRUM ROLL WORKSHOPS: Grades 4–12

Interactive workshops provide students with a deeper opportunity to explore rhythm, percussion, creativity, and ensemble work.

Through Drum Roll workshops, young people can strengthen:

  • Academic Engagement: Students practice creativity, brainstorming, problem-solving, focus, and completing multistep activities.
  • Artistic Development:  Students build percussion skills and learn to apply artistic elements, techniques, and ideas.
  • Social & Emotional Skills: Students practice communication, resilience, self-direction, cultural awareness, collaboration, and respect for different perspectives.

DRUM ROLL ASSEMBLIES: Available for All Ages

Drum Roll assemblies combine live percussion, participation, rhythm activities, cultural learning, and audience interaction to create a memorable shared experience. Assemblies can support:
